Founded in 1959 by Giuliana Marchini and Silvano Gerani, Gilmar is an Italian fashion company that evolved from a small knitwear workshop into a major industrial group. The company is headquartered in San Giovanni in Marignano and remains family-owned. Gilmar serves as both a manufacturer and distributor, managing its proprietary brands, Iceberg and Ice Play, and producing collections for licensed labels such as N°21 and Paolo Pecora Milano. The group's foundation is built on Giuliana Marchini's initial craft as a knitter, which grew into a large-scale production enterprise.
