Founded in 2013 by Giuliana Leila Raggiani, Giu Giu is a Los Angeles-based knitwear label rooted in nostalgia and playful simplicity. Raggiani, a Parsons and Central Saint Martins alumna, launched the brand as an homage to her grandmother, Palmira Giglia, who designed the cult-favorite "Vaccaro" turtlenecks in Boston from the 1960s to the early 1990s. This heritage directly informs Giu Giu’s core aesthetic, which reimagines vintage knitwear through a modern, gender-fluid lens.
