Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife duo Emily and Brad Weckesser, Gladfolk operates from a wooded homestead in Northeastern Ohio. Originally launched as The Oyster's Pearl, the brand evolved into a family-focused lifestyle label rooted in slow living and natural materials. The founders, who combine backgrounds in graphic design and woodworking, hand-print and craft many of their pieces in-house. Gladfolk focuses on heirloom-quality wooden toys, organic cotton childrenswear, and minimalist home decor designed to foster connection and imaginative play.
