Founded in 2009 in New York City by Rob Magness, a former menswear design director at Ralph Lauren, Grown & Sewn was established to redefine the classic American khaki. Rooted in a deep appreciation for domestic manufacturing, the brand set out to merge the rugged durability and five-pocket styling of vintage denim with the comfort of cotton twill. This vision culminated in the brand’s signature "Kax"—a khaki-denim hybrid that offers a tailored, modern fit alongside the lived-in feel of a favorite pair of jeans.
