Founded in 2020 by London-based creatives Arianna Airaldi and Ajay Larr, HAAT-ery began as an archival research project exploring traditional headwear across cultures. The brand’s name merges "hat" with the founders' initials and the Hindi word "haat," meaning "by hand." Rooted in slow fashion and artisanal craftsmanship, HAAT-ery produces sculptural, unconventional headwear and apparel using antique fabrics, vintage textiles, and handwoven Indian cottons.
