Founded in 2020 by Mike Hannegan and Trevor Haremaker, Happy Caps emerged from a surf trip to Mexico as a remedy to a world that felt upside down. Rooted in Southern California’s surf and skate culture, the brand began as a passion project focused on spreading optimism through a simple, wearable symbol: the trucker hat. What started with a few designs quickly gained traction in Miami’s Wynwood district and at major cultural events like Art Basel and F1, evolving into a global "vibe" that champions mental wellness and living in the moment.
