Launched in 2019 by Harsh Agarwal, an economics graduate turned self-taught designer, Harago is a Jaipur-based brand rooted in India’s rich textile heritage. The label is celebrated for transforming vintage fabrics, deadstock materials, and handwoven textiles into contemporary menswear with a relaxed, resort-wear character. Agarwal, inspired by his family’s collection of heirloom textiles, collaborates directly with artisans across India to utilize and revive traditional techniques like cross-stitch, Kantha, and block-printing, creating simple, wearable silhouettes. This hands-on, craft-focused approach means many pieces are one-of-a-kind, telling a story of cultural preservation.
