Since 1962, Havaianas has translated the vibrant, carefree spirit of Brazil into the world's most recognizable flip-flop. Inspired by traditional Japanese Zori sandals, the brand's founders replaced the original's woven rice straw with a patented, secret rubber formula, creating a durable and comfortable shoe for the Brazilian working class.
