henkenjohann

Founded in 1874 as a wooden shoe business by the Henkenjohann family in Germany, the company transitioned into shutter manufacturing in 1950 under Johann Henkenjohann. Recognizing the need for space-saving blackout solutions, the brand revolutionized the market in 1969 with the invention of the first foam-filled aluminium roller shutter slat, leading to the birth of the heroal (Henkenjohann roll-forms aluminium) brand. Today, the company is a technology leader in aluminium processing, offering premium system solutions for roller shutters, sun protection, roller doors, windows, doors, and curtain walls.
