Launched in 2021 by the Miyake Design Studio, IM MEN represents a new chapter in Issey Miyake’s menswear evolution. Rooted in the late founder’s philosophy of "a piece of cloth," the brand is led by a collective design team including Sen Kawahara, Yuki Itakura, and Nobutaka Kobayashi. Rather than a nostalgic revival of the former Issey Miyake Men line, IM MEN approaches contemporary menswear through rigorous material research, pattern intelligence, and structural engineering.
