Founded in 1894 by Carl Schaller in Bavaria, Germany, Ino Schaller is a heritage manufacturer of traditional papier-mâché holiday collectibles. Originally created as hollow candy containers, the brand’s signature figures are still produced using the family’s historic plaster molds and a centuries-old recipe of paper, clay, and secret minerals. Now in its fourth generation, the family-owned workshop in Meilschnitz continues to hand-paint and decorate each piece with nostalgic details like faux fur, mica, glass beads, and bottle brush trees.
