Interior was a contemporary luxury fashion label founded in New York City in 2020 by Jack Miner and Lily Miesmer. The brand quickly became known for its nuanced and idiosyncratic approach to daily dressing, blending sportswear, tailoring, and eveningwear with a nostalgic yet forward-facing perspective. Miner and Miesmer, who were friends since high school, aimed to create clothes that evoked a certain emotional charge, resulting in designs that often featured a slightly “off” or deconstructed element, like a dress made to be worn backwards or with extra sleeves. The collections included dresses, tops, pants, knitwear, and jackets, often playing with conventional silhouettes to create something new and unexpected.
