Founded in 1833 in Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux, Jaeger-LeCoultre is a horological pioneer known as “the watchmaker’s watchmaker.” The Maison was established by inventor Antoine LeCoultre, whose obsession with precision led him to create the first instrument capable of measuring a micron, setting the stage for nearly two centuries of innovation. This heritage of technical mastery is central to the brand’s identity, with over 1,400 unique calibers and 430 registered patents developed entirely in-house. The brand’s signature creation is the Reverso, an Art Deco icon from 1931 with a clever reversible case originally designed to withstand polo matches.
