Founded in 1914 by Jean Patou, the eponymous French house originally revolutionized women's fashion by freeing them from corsets and introducing chic, sports-infused sportswear and the iconic "Joy" perfume. After decades of changing hands and a period of dormancy, the house was acquired by LVMH and relaunched in 2019 simply as Patou, under the artistic direction of Guillaume Henry.
