Founded in 2002 by three-time Olympic freestyle skier Kari Traa in Voss, Norway, Kari Traa is a women’s activewear brand rooted in Scandinavian outdoor culture. Frustrated by the male-dominated, drab skiwear of the time, Traa began knitting her own colorful beanies, which eventually evolved into a full-fledged performance apparel company.
