Founded in 2016 by Key Chow and Jarno Leppänen, KAWA KEY is a London and Helsinki-based genderless label rooted in a blend of Asian and Scandinavian heritage. Chow, a Royal College of Art graduate who previously worked at J.W. Anderson, and Leppänen, a multidisciplinary artist, merge their backgrounds to create a deeply poetic and artisanal approach to fashion. The brand reimagines everyday wardrobe staples through bespoke fabrics, intricate knitwear, and hand-drawn prints that evoke a sense of romanticism and emotional depth.
