The brand's founder, René Cléon, a shoemaker by trade, began the family's manufacturing legacy in his workshop in Anjou, France, after returning from WWII. Initially, the company supplied shoes to French public services, including the national railway company, Air France, and the army, which instilled a focus on durability and functionality that defines the brand today. The production remains exclusively in their French workshop, a commitment to preserving local craftsmanship.
