Founded in 2026 by veteran fashion creatives Kate Aubrey and Kyra Griffin, LA MAMA was born from the founders' own need for a bag that could keep pace with their demanding, multifaceted lives. Drawing on their extensive experience shaping the visual identities of major fashion houses, Aubrey and Griffin designed the brand around the tension between high-fashion authority and everyday resilience. The brand's debut silhouette, the LM1, is an oversized, architectural carryall handcrafted in Florence from croco-embossed vegan leather. Designed to be worn open-zipped and slouched, the bag is complemented by a modular system of pouches that allow the wearer to organize and edit their daily essentials.
