Founded in 2014 by Samantha McCoach, whose grandmother was a traditional kilt-maker in Edinburgh, Le Kilt reimagines Scottish heritage for a modern audience. Based in London and proudly manufactured in Scotland and the UK, the brand is rooted in artisanal craftsmanship and slow fashion principles. Le Kilt’s core offering centers on its signature pleated wool kilts, which combine eclectic tartans, heavy leather buckles, and a punkish DIY spirit. The collections have since expanded to include raw denim, cashmere knits, and tailored outerwear, all designed as contemporary heirlooms that form the foundation of a modern womenswear wardrobe.
