Founded in 2011 by Andrew Rademacher in Boulder, Colorado, Lems Shoes was born from a frustration with traditional footwear and a desire to create shoes that respect the natural shape of the human foot. Rademacher, who taught himself shoemaking by dissecting conventional running shoes, launched the brand with a clear mission: to design minimalist, zero-drop footwear with a wide toe box that allows toes to splay naturally.
