Established in 2019, L'IDÉE is an Australian womenswear brand founded by Breeana Smith and Iuliia Ievdokymenko, who drew on backgrounds in brand management and biology, respectively. The brand's identity is built around the art of pleating, exploring the interplay of light, movement, and color. L'IDÉE works with a historic pleating factory to develop exclusive, engineered folds in high-grade polyester, creating sculptural gowns, dresses, and separates. The collections are defined by their vibrant hues and fluid, feminine silhouettes, intended to be timeless pieces for special occasions.
