Established in 1986 by Mira and Wynn Katz in New York City, Linea Pelle began as a belt manufacturer before expanding into a full range of leather goods. The founders, who previously managed an Italian-manufactured sportswear line, leveraged their expertise to introduce unique elements like leopard haircalf and Western-inspired hardware to the accessories market. Relocating to Los Angeles in 1990, the brand embraced a distinctive L.A.-casual lifestyle that continues to define its aesthetic today.
