Founded in 2015 by Edinburgh-based illustrator and multi-disciplinary artist Liz Rowland, the eponymous brand translates a love for storytelling into whimsical, hand-painted ceramics. Rowland, who initially turned to clay to overcome a creative block, builds, paints, and fires each piece by hand in her Scottish studio. Her work is deeply informed by her background in editorial illustration, where she has collaborated with clients like Vogue and Soho House.
