Founded in Paris by Pierre Guguen in 2017, L'Orchestre Parfum is built on the synesthetic concept of pairing fragrance with music. Guguen, who previously worked in fragrance development at Puig, combined his two passions to create a multi-sensory experience. The brand's core process involves a perfumer creating a scent inspired by the materials of musical instruments—like guitar wood or kora leather—and a musician then composing an original piece of music to correspond with the fragrance. Each perfume comes with a QR code to listen to its dedicated score, creating a unique dialogue between the two arts.
