Lou Zeldis was an American artist, actor, and designer who spent much of his life in Bali, Indonesia, where he developed his eponymous jewelry and textile brand. A former theater performer who studied esoteric body decoration in Peru, Zeldis brought a deeply talismanic and cross-cultural approach to his craft. His work is celebrated for its organic, rustic, and bohemian aesthetic, often described by the designer himself as "Modern Eyes, Ancient Hands."
