Founded in 2007 by an MIT-trained engineer, Maceoo is a San Diego-based menswear brand built on a foundation of mathematical precision. The founder, Mehdi Raad, developed a proprietary algebraic algorithm based on data from 30 million North American men to create a signature tailored fit designed to improve posture and accentuate a masculine V-shape. This technical approach is combined with a sophisticated design sensibility, drawing inspiration from Parisian style and a relaxed West Coast lifestyle. The brand initially set out to reinvent the men's dress shirt, which remains its core product.
