Malabar Baby was founded by Anjali Harjani, a former finance professional who, while living in Hong Kong, saw a need for baby bedding that was safe, sustainable, and stylish. Named after her childhood home in Malabar Hill, Mumbai, the brand draws heavily on Indian heritage, using traditional block-printing techniques to create its signature designs. The collection focuses on natural and organic materials, including GOTS-certified cotton and bamboo, to produce soft, breathable essentials for babies and children, such as quilts, swaddles, and sleep sacks.
