Founded in 2015 by Brazilian-born model and designer Mari Giudicelli, her eponymous New York-based footwear brand merges downtown minimalism with vintage-inspired elegance. Giudicelli, who studied footwear design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, launched the label to create the understated, practical shoes she felt were missing from the market. The brand is best known for its signature Leblon mules, block-heel loafers, and sculptural sandals, which are characterized by clean lines, carved wooden heels, and rich textures like suede and lizard-embossed leather.
