Launched in 2023 by La Cambre graduate Marie Adam-Leenaerdt, the Brussels-based brand redefines modern womenswear with an intellectual and playful approach. After gaining experience at Balenciaga, Adam-Leenaerdt established her eponymous label, quickly earning a finalist spot for the 2024 LVMH Prize. Her design process begins not with trends, but with the observation and deconstruction of everyday objects and clothing archetypes—a tablecloth, a t-shirt, or a skirt hanger become the conceptual starting points for her collections. The resulting garments are both familiar and surreal, challenging wearers to reconsider the function and form of clothing.
