Created to counter a contracting premium crystal market, Marquis was designed to bring Waterford’s signature light-refracting brilliance to a broader, lifestyle-oriented audience. The line shifted production to European facilities and utilized high-quality, lead-free crystalline instead of traditional heavy lead crystal. This approach yielded glassware that is lighter, more resilient for frequent use, and significantly more accessible in price, all while maintaining the crisp, geometric cuts that define the Waterford aesthetic.
