Launched in 2021 by the Ukrainian-born, London-based designer, Masha Popova’s eponymous label is celebrated for its experimental and subversive approach to womenswear. A graduate of Central Saint Martins with experience at Maison Margiela and Celine, Popova channels her post-Soviet childhood and architectural background into her designs. The brand is best known for its innovative work with denim, using techniques like bleaching, deconstruction, and digital embroidery to create signature pieces like low-slung jeans, asymmetrical jackets, and iconic butterfly-motif tops. Her work merges a raw, carefree attitude with a high-fashion sensibility, resulting in what she calls "decadent sportswear with irreverent elegance."
