Founded in 2022 in Dubai by Egyptian designer Malak ElNahas, Melkyana is an emerging swimwear and resort wear label rooted in the duality of the modern Middle Eastern woman. ElNahas, a former marketer who spent weeks training in an Istanbul atelier to understand garment construction, built the brand to challenge predefined notions of femininity.
