Miaou was founded in 2016 by Alexia Elkaim, a designer raised between Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, whose search for the perfect-fitting pants led her to create her own. Inspired by a vintage find, the brand’s initial body-hugging jeans quickly gained a cult following among influencers and celebrities, establishing Miaou’s core mission: to make the wearer feel good. The brand’s design is deeply shaped by Elkaim’s tradition of scouring flea markets, blending Parisian-chic with a laid-back California cool.
