Founded in 2021 in Gonars, Italy, by Alberto and Gloria, Miez is an artisanal footwear brand dedicated to preserving the heritage of traditional Friulane shoes. Rooted in the centuries-old shoemaking traditions of the Friuli region, the brand focuses on softly constructed comfort and exceptional materials. Miez's signature product is the Friulane slip-on, a timeless silhouette characterized by a "glove" effect and unparalleled comfort. Handcrafted by the historic B.E.A. shoemaker run by the Businelli family, each pair features a rubber tread hand-stitched to a felt sole with waxed twine, a meticulous process that takes an hour to complete 200 stitches.
