Founded in 2023 by cosmetic chemist Fabienne Sebaoun, Mimétique is a French dermocosmetics brand that bridges the gap between clinical efficacy and clean beauty. Sebaoun, who previously formulated for luxury houses like La Mer and Guerlain, built the brand around the concept of "skin mimicry"—the science of using biomimetic ingredients that the skin naturally recognizes and absorbs. Developed in partnership with AgroParisTech, the brand’s proprietary SMR-C5 complex utilizes skin-identical actives to support hydration, regeneration, and barrier protection.
