Founded in 1998 in Mexico City by designer Monica Calderón, Monica Calderon Studio is a homeware and furniture brand rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. Calderón, whose background spans over two decades in design and curation, initially created a line of handmade resin homewares inspired by Pre-Hispanic designs to complement the architectural practice of her husband, Ezequiel Farca. Today, the Los Angeles-based designer continues to bridge the creative worlds of Mexico and California.
