Founded in 2016 as the experimental, high-fashion offshoot of Berlin-based eyewear brand MYKITA (established in 2003), MYKITA Studio serves as the creative core of the company's "Modern Manufactory." The line was conceived by creative director Moritz Krueger to explore bold, uncompromising ideas that push beyond the constraints of the main collections. Operating as a series of capsule releases, each installment begins with a clean slate to reflect a distinct aesthetic zeitgeist, drawing on influences ranging from Fritz Lang’s Metropolis to optical illusion art.
