Launched in 2017 by Kurdish-Swedish siblings Dilan and Lezan Lurr, Namacheko is a Belgian-based brand born from an exploration of identity and cultural duality. The founders, who both studied civil engineering before turning to fashion, apply an architectural precision to their designs, focusing on sharp tailoring, innovative fabric techniques, and durability. The brand’s origin story began with a documentary about their family in Kirkuk, with the clothing created for the film catching the eye of cult Parisian retailer The Broken Arm and launching their first collection.
