Founded in 2015 by Pearce—who previously worked in the Archives & Collections department of Universal Studios, learning the art of historical record-keeping—the brand began as a conceptual project to elevate unglamorous caregiving and cleaning tools into art objects. Using traditional sand-casting methods, Pearce casts everyday items like dish sponges, toothbrushes, and cassette tapes in solid, recycled bronze.
