Founded in May 2020 in New York City by three Cambodian-American sisters, Nary is a purposeful resort wear brand rooted in cultural heritage and ethical production. Named after the founders' mother, a survivor of the Khmer Rouge genocide, the brand was established to honor Cambodian resilience and provide safe, living-wage employment for local artisans. Nary partners with former NGO seamstresses in Phnom Penh, offering them flexible, home-based work that directly counters the garment industry's cycle of exploitation.
