Founded in 2015 by Vancouver-based artist Nathalee Paolinelli, her eponymous ceramic studio blurs the line between functional tableware and sculptural art. Drawing from her background in painting and her Tsleil-Waututh and Italian heritage, Paolinelli approaches clay with an intuitive, 'consciously naïve' technique. Her work is deeply rooted in the rugged landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, translating the textures of lichen, barnacles, and brittle coral into delicate porcelain and stoneware.
