Neville Tatham is an Essex-based ceramicist specializing in functional, hand-thrown slipware pottery. Rooted in the traditional rural pottery of Europe that predates the Industrial Revolution, Tatham’s work honors historic English craft while bringing it into contemporary homes. He studied 3D Design at Manchester Metropolitan University in the early 1990s, specializing in wheel-thrown ceramics, and has since established himself as a respected maker within the contemporary ceramics scene.
