Named from a portmanteau of “newer” and “never,” NEVVER is a Japanese fashion brand dedicated to perfecting the sweatshirt. It reinterprets the spirit of 1970s and 80s American collegiate sweats through a modern lens of uncompromising Japanese craftsmanship. The brand’s signature is its heavyweight, 900-gram cotton fleece, which is custom-knitted by skilled artisans in Wakayama to achieve a specific vintage-style heathered look. This fabric is then sent to a sewing factory in Gifu, where it is constructed using rare, vintage two-needle sewing machines to ensure superior durability and strength.
