Launched in 2014, Nude is a contemporary glassware brand from Istanbul, created by the global glass manufacturer Şişecam. Guided by the principle “Simple is Beautiful,” Nude creates lead-free crystalline glass for modern living, focusing on minimalist forms that unite function and aesthetics. The collections, which include tableware, barware, vases, and decorative objects, are developed in collaboration with a global roster of designers and artists like Ron Arad. Many pieces are handmade by master blowers, preserving an artisanal approach to production while incorporating innovative techniques like 'Ion Shielding' to create exceptionally thin but durable glassware.
