Founded in 2022 as a creative partnership between Oakley and the Los Angeles-based art collective Brain Dead, Oakley Factory Team is an experimental laboratory dedicated to reviving and mutating the eyewear giant’s most avant-garde archival silhouettes. Conceptualized by Brain Dead and powered by Oakley’s technical heritage, the project mines the “mad science” era of the late 1990s and early 2000s, specifically targeting cult-favorite footwear models that were once considered too radical for the mainstream.
