Founded in 2020 by New Zealand-born designer Oliver Church, his eponymous Paris-based label operates as a masterclass in slow fashion and old-world craftsmanship. Operating outside the traditional fashion calendar, Church hand-cuts, hand-dyes, and hand-finishes each piece in his Parisian atelier, producing fewer than 200 garments a year. The brand's ethos is deeply rooted in the preservation of history, utilizing vintage and antique French deadstock fabrics—such as 120-year-old linen and Kelsch—that carry a unique patina and soul.
