Founded in Paris in 2009 by Olympia Le-Tan and Gregory Bernard, the brand is globally renowned for its iconic, hand-embroidered minaudières. These wearable works of art cleverly reimagine classic book covers, film posters, and cultural motifs as limited-edition clutches, each meticulously crafted and individually numbered. Drawing on her obsessions with embroidery—a skill inherited from her grandmother—and literature, Le-Tan established a unique niche that merges artisanal craft with a playful, pop-culture sensibility. The clutches, which can take over 300 hours to create, feature silk-thread embroidery and felt appliqué on a canvas body, finished with a signature Liberty print lining.
