Founded in 2009 by artist and musician Sean Friesen, Orangeheat is a California-based children's apparel brand rooted in the vibrant energy of Venice Beach. Friesen, who grew up in California's skate and punk scene and toured as a musician, began silk-screening vintage imagery onto onesies for his son, seeking an alternative to mainstream character-licensed kidswear. This art-first approach remains the foundation of the brand.
