Oryza Lab was born from a meeting at the Quinta da Comporta luxury hotel, set amidst the rice fields of Portugal. The brand is a collaboration between French cosmetics expert Marianne Brass and the hotel's owner, architect Miguel Cancio Martins. Inspired by the region's long history of rice cultivation, Oryza Lab centers its philosophy on "Rizotherapy," utilizing up to nine different active ingredients derived from rice—from traditional rice water to modern rice peptides.
