ostheimer

Founded in 1939 in Germany, Ostheimer is a heritage wooden toy maker deeply rooted in Waldorf educational principles. The brand is celebrated for its handcrafted, solid wood figures that capture the essence of animals, people, and nature through minimalist, soft-edged forms. Designed to encourage open-ended, imaginative play, the core product lines include farm animals, woodland creatures, fairytale characters, and seasonal nativity sets. Each piece is sawn, sanded, and painted by hand using non-toxic, water-based stains and organic oils, allowing the natural grain of the wood to remain visible and tactile.
